In this physical world, it takes physical treatment to heal. Only when nothing else works, we pray to Heaven for help. Understand? Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn’t. It might be because your karma is too heavy or it’s time for you to die. No one can stop it, not even if you pray. Understand?
I’m not in a very good mood today. So, please just sit down and be quiet. I am not in a good mood. Please be quiet. I have told you, birth, old age, illness, and death. This is what gives people so much pain. How many Chinese? Raise hand, Chinese? Chinese people. OK then, I’ll speak more languages. Whether you practice spiritually or not, separation is very agonizing. I said, no matter if you practice any kind of religious meditation or any kind of method, it still feels very painful when you have to separate from your loved ones. But at least we the practitioners have hope. Maybe you could see each other in the other world. That’s the only way, the best way to be reunited with your loved ones. I said no matter if you practice spiritually or not, separation is still the most painful part of human life. Though we know birth, old age, sickness and death are inevitable, it is still very painful.
In the future, if you know you are sick, do not travel. Understand? Firstly, our symptoms would be aggravated; secondly, if it is contagious, it is bad for others. Don’t think that when you come here, Master would do “hula hula hoop” to heal you. No! Drop that idea. We have to do it in the way of the world. If you know you’re sick, even with just a mild symptom, you have to go to see the doctor before you travel. Because if you travel when you’re sick, then you aggravate your symptoms and you get more sick. Because when you travel outside of your familiar situation, the energy is different. You’re not used to it, it takes some time till to get used to it. And if you are sick, then it makes you more sick, number one. Number two, if you really have some kind of infectious disease, you might infect other people. Understand? (Understand.)
I said, if you know you’re sick, even a little bit, you shouldn’t say you will be fine soon. It’s not sure that you will be fine. If you are so sick that you vomit. If you already vomited several times, that means you have some problem – an infection or some grave damage to your internal organs already. You have to go see a doctor. You cannot travel; you cannot come here and say, “Master will heal me.” I don’t do such things. I don’t “hula hula hoop” and then just cure everybody. It depends on your karma. It depends on whether it’s time for you to go or not go. I cannot stop you from dying because this is the fate of everybody. We have to be born and then you have to get old, then you’re sick and then you die, including myself. I don’t want to change that. I don’t know about you, I don’t want to continue living here forever. There’s nothing here in this world worthy for me to continue to stay forever. Except that I feel sorry for the humans’ dilemma, and I want to help them as much as I can. But these people should also have affinity with me. And if I go, I know there’s another Master who will come to take care of you. That’s different. Otherwise, there’s nothing much here for us to really want to linger longer.
So, if you’re sick, you just stay home. Take good care, check-up with the doctor to see what kind of sickness you have, especially if you vomit or have diarrhea – that is serious. Here we don’t advise people to travel when they’re sick. Remember? Everybody knows, right? Or not? Yes, you know or not? (Yes.) You all know that you shouldn’t come if you are sick, right? (Yes.) Don’t hide your illness, OK? Because it is bad for you and others. I said that… What I mean is, don’t come here if you’re sick. I have told the contact persons so many times. Don’t let the sick people come here. Understand? Coming here will make you sicker, number one. Number two, you might infect other people. That’s not good.
If you come, I’m very hospitable, so of course, I take care of you, talk to you, or give some spiritual discourses. But it’s not that I encourage you to come here for anything. I told you already, construction activities are not allowed here. In the beginning, I only bought it because many people followed me to become renunciates and they had nowhere to live. I bought a small piece of land... no... I hadn’t bought this land yet. Only from here up to the sidewalk there, that’s it. There used to be just some chicken-people running around, no one lived here. No water, no electricity, nothing. So I did not want you to come here; didn’t want to see you suffering too much. I wanted to buy some other pieces of land but I couldn’t. Sometimes I was about to buy it, but someone else got it first, for example like that. You think I can use magic or so. We cannot do it like that. I have to work with my own efforts. It’s the same for everything. Don’t think that being a Master is easy and you can get whatever you want. It’s not like that.
I said when you are sick, of course you don’t need to come because I don’t encourage you to come. We can’t build anything in front, on this side. I just bought a small piece of land, from the back of here to that side of the road only. It was a very small piece, even here was not ours. Later, there were more and more people coming, so we could have it. It was not bought. It was rented. Rented, but may rent permanently, it seems to be so now. Everybody thinks that I can have anything I want. No, this world is not my world. I can’t always have anything I want. If I want anything, or if you want anything, I have to get it through the effort of my own physical body. Many times, I failed in buying the land. On the brink of securing the deal, someone paid a little bit more and made the deal behind our back, for example like that. This happened many times. I do want to buy a better place for you, but it also depends on your blessings. It doesn’t depend on my will alone. Understand?
When you are already sick, if there is diarrhea and vomiting, that means it is serious. You can’t hide it from the contact person and come by yourself, thinking that Master would heal you. Can’t do this. Yeah, you can’t. When I am sick, I go to see a doctor too. Why bother? Sometimes, before we start to meditate, we could have already passed away. You don’t cover up your sickness so that the contact person will let you come here. This is the last time I tell you, all the contact persons. You go home, tell all contact persons: anybody who has sickness cannot come. Before you come, you should really use your honor to swear, “I’m not sick, so far I know, I’m not sick.” Not coming here to make for yourself more trouble and maybe you infect other people.
Therefore, if you are sick or know someone who is sick, tell them to hold off, come later. But the trouble is this, for example, the mainland Chinese, when they get the visa, they just go. They cannot wait, cannot say, “OK, I have a visa, but I will go later.” So they go... Sometimes the situation is difficult. It’s very difficult to obtain a visa, the passport, is that right? Visa is very difficult. So, they go as soon as they get it, sometimes they don’t want to tell the contact person that they are sick.
If you are so sick that you vomit or have diarrhea or something, then it’s possible that you have a serious infection. So, when you see the symptoms of sickness, you should not travel. If you go, you will bother other people and you may infect them. Normally, when you go through the airport, many people are wearing... what is it? (A mask.) A mask to cover their mouth. Yes. Policemen or the professional staff stand there waiting for us. They take our temperature to see if we’re sick or not. But sometimes they cannot do it thoroughly. So if you know you have a headache or diarrhea or vomit, don’t come. Got it? Don’t go anywhere. Not only that you don’t come here, but don’t go anywhere else. For example, you want to go to Hong Kong, but you shouldn’t go. You should postpone it. Nothing is too important as to risk your life. Go later. But I mean, for example, the mainland Chinese, it’s very difficult for them to obtain a visa. So when they get one, they go right away. They don’t think of anything. Sometimes they even think when they come here, Master will help cure their sickness. I’m not a doctor. I never said I was a doctor! Yes or no? (No!) No! If I’m sick, I also go to the doctor. Why waste your effort? Just take a few pills, then it’s gone. Why bother sitting there praying. Save your time to meditate for liberation.
