In Shining World Compassion Award News from New Zealand…

During the COVID-19 lockdown, nine-year-old Anika Beren utilized her time to start a small business called Amuri Gardens, named after her grandfather’s home village in the Cook Islands. With the guidance of her grandfather, Anika began to grow native trees from seeds that she collected. She then sold the native seedlings under the “donate a tree” package. Customers would purchase seedlings in biodegradable tree guards, and Anika planted them on their behalf, such as at a dog park. This initially began as part of a school project where students were required to donate 25% of profits, but Anika chose to donate 100% of the profits, or over US$1,000, to the Bay of Islands Animal Rescue.

“My grandad helped me a lot with this project. He kept me going, he kept me doing everything I was supposed to do, watering them and giving them fertilizer and repotting them and yeah, he’s just been helping me a lot. And my mum, she helps me organize all the online planning and making my own Gmail account for the actual business, and she helped me get the word out on Facebook and stuff like that. And everyone’s been a big help in repotting and everything to do with the business, and it’s just been amazing.”

Our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Joyfully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Anika Beren, plus a US$10,000 loving contribution to support this noble cause, with thanks and love.”

Our Association members in Auckland, New Zealand, were pleased to present the Award letter, crystalline plaque, and Master’s financial contribution to Anika. “Shining World Compassion Award from Supreme Master Ching Hai for Anika Beren. In recognition of pure-hearted love for our furry friends using stellar entrepreneurial skills to fundraise for a shelter, encouraging humane justice and respect of animals, lovingly uplifting our planet with kindness. With compliments and gratitude for your benevolent compassion and generosity. There you are, Anika.”

“Thank You. I just wanted to say thank You to Supreme Master Ching Hai for this amazing award and all the money that She has given to me to give to the Animal Rescue. Because it’s phenomenal. Yeah. Thank You.”

Anika, who loves animals, donated her entire award funds to the Bay of Islands Animal Rescue. The group’s founder, Summer Johnson, said that the donation had left her speechless.

Our jubilant congratulations, Anika Beren, your loving and supportive team, and also the Bay of Islands Animal Rescue. In God’s love, may we all do something positive for our wonderful animal co-inhabitants, the environment and our world.

For the full presentation of the Shining World Compassion Award to Anika Beren, please tune in to our Shining World Awards program at a later date.

Climate change exacerbates forest fires in India and Nepal.

Forest fires in some parts of northern India and neighboring Nepal are burning stronger and more frequently compared to nearly two decades ago, as global warming increases dryness in the region. In March alone, there were approximately 500 and 1,500 wildfires in Nepal and the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand, respectively, which took the lives of about 20 people and caused air quality to reach hazardous levels. Alarmingly, the forests have shifted from their traditional roles as carbon sinks to carbon sources. According to the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, the Uttarakhand forest has released a record 200,000 metric tons of carbon in March, while Nepal’s fires emitted nearly 18 million metric tons in the same period, the highest since 2016. Many thanks, European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts. With our sincere prayers for the affected countries, may our world urgently transition to the most planet-cooling vegan lifestyle, in Heaven’s wisdom.

Up next on Noteworthy News, researchers find that walnuts may reduce cardiovascular disease. We’ll just take a little time to thank the digital watch assemblers, who make digital watches, timers and other devices with the highest possible precision. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more valuable news. Be Vegan, Make Peace.

Good day, inquisitive viewers, it’s Ginko the vegan American Purple Gallinule! Do you want to be beautiful inside out? Be vegan and your loveliness will radiate from head to toe! Car safety is key, especially for parents with kids. As children often shift around in their car seats, it is crucial they are securely fastened and won’t be able to unbuckle themselves. When looking for car seats, select one with two-piece retainer clips as this will be much harder for a child to unfasten. Check every two weeks that the shoulder harness is properly positioned over your child’s chest as it may loosen over time. You can do this by sliding two fingers beneath the straps; you should not be able to fit any more than this. Wishing your family well! Much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for watching. And now for the weather around the world.

Researchers find that walnuts may decrease the risk of heart disease.

A team of scientists from the United States and Spain have found that eating 30 to 60 grams of walnuts per day may lessen the chance of cardiovascular disease by reducing inflammation in the body. The study included 708 people between the ages of 63 and 79, with some of the people eating the walnuts daily for two years. Those consuming the nuts had up to 11.5% less inflammation molecules circulating in their blood, which indicates a lower chance of cardiovascular issues. The authors of the study, which was published in the peer-reviewed Journal of the American College of Cardiology, noted that the combined ##nutrients such as omega-3 oils and also polyphenols likely caused the improvement in health. Thank you, researchers. May findings like these encourage more people to switch to plant-based protein sources, in the support of the Providence.

Google Earth creates time-lapse images of the planet.

The United States-headquartered tech company Google recently released Timelapse, a feature of its Google Earth computer program that allows people to view changes on any place on the planet going back 37 years. Over 24 million satellite images taken by the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the European Union were stitched together, and reveal the immense effects of climate change and human development on our Earth. Many preset locations are available for those who might wish to see dramatic glacier melts, the drying up of seas, deforestation, urban growth, and more. Google hopes the project will “shift perspectives about some of our most pressing global issues.” Our appreciation, Google, for helping us to see humans’ serious impacts on the planet. In God’s grace, may we wake up and save this beautiful Earth home for our future generations.

Personal trainer teaches Congolese dance online to help individuals during pandemic.

Armel Zola, a fitness trainer to celebrities in the United Kingdom, held a Zoom class during lockdown, to give people with Down’s syndrome throughout England and Wales a chance to have fun and connect with each other. The brother of Distel Zola, an internationally well-known football player, Mr. Zola said he was inspired by his other younger brother who has Down’s syndrome, saying, “I really care. It comes from my heart.” During the class, the teacher checked in with some of the participants, who reported that they really enjoyed learning the moves with him. God bless you, Armel Zola. Your loving way to spread cheer earns our heartfelt admiration. In Heaven’s embrace, may all be inspired to see the silver lining during this challenging time.

Coming up, all-vegan cheese shop in United States expands. We are going to pause for a moment to learn about the different lovely butterflies that visit our garden. We’ll be right back with more laudable news here on Supreme Master Television. Be Veg, Go Green 2 Save the Planet. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Brightening News for an Incredible World.

Vegan cheese shop in United States expands.

Founded in Las Vegas, Nevada, by Jodi Paige, Virgin Cheese offers cashew-based cheeses in flavors such as Bleu, Brie, Feta, Lemon Dill, Pepper Jack, Sharp White Cheddar, and more. Besides local restaurants, the all-plant-based brand is also available at cheese shops, chocolatiers, and other retailers in Arizona, California, Texas, and New York. More recently, Virgin Cheese opened a vegan cheese production facility and storefront in Arizona state. Ms. Paige said, “With Virgin Cheese, our mission is to offer a better vegan alternative that delivers on flavor as well as its many health benefits.” Bravo, Jodi Paige! We applaud your steadfast endeavor to offer customers numerous options of vegan cheese. May such delectable and compassionate vegan products be enjoyed worldwide, in Celestial delight.

Conservationists attempt to save green sea turtles’ male-to-female population ratio in Australia.

Researchers from the World Wide Fund for Nature on Australia’s Heron Island are conducting a study to determine how to save the local green turtle population, which for almost two decades has been giving birth to 99% females. The highly skewed ratio of females to males is due to climate change. Sand temperatures where they lay the eggs have become warmer, which then causes the offspring to be female. Hoping to lower the nest temperature into the range of producing more males, the researchers have been collecting the eggs as turtle lay them and burying them deeper in the sand at a protected area. Our appreciation, World Wide Fund for Nature, for your dedicated efforts to save the peaceful green turtles. In Divine blessings, may our climate soon stabilize to ensure the survival of all species, including our own.

The last joke might not have been your type. We have searched everywhere for a better one, here it is. Please laugh! It’s called “Wedding Dress.”

When Andrea got married, she asked to wear her mother’s wedding dress. The day she tried it on for the first time, her sister Jully was sitting with their mother in the living room, as Andrea descended the stairs. The gown was a perfect fit on her petite frame. Then the mother’s eyes welled with tears and Jully put her arm around her, reminding her of the old saying:

“You are not losing a daughter, mom. You are gaining a son.”

“Oh, forget about that! I used to fit into that dress!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Lúcio in the Republic of Peru:

Beloved Master, May Your Love and Blessing flood human hearts, and may they choose a peaceful diet to live in peace with God's creation, as it was in the beginning. We pray for World Peace to be here soon and that we may live like real human beings. Their love, Love and Your Love will win. With Love, Your disciple, Lúcio from the Republic of Peru

Understanding Lúcio, Thank you for this positive message.

It is a joy to share Master’s sweet reply to you: “Inspiring Lúcio, my Love to you and I really appreciate your caring support for and vision of a vegan world. May the Godses’ Mighty Power speed the upliftment of humanity and realize the Divine on Earth. I pray the Universal Wisdom guides you and brings joy and serenity to all the gentle Peruvians.”
