I have a useful tip on planting strawberries. By selecting day-neutral varieties like ‘Seascape,’ ‘Albion,’ and ‘Everest’, you can have continual growth throughout the season. Strawberries should be planted in containers that are wider than deep due to their shallow roots – a pot measuring 30 by 20 centimeters (12 by 8 inches) is ideal. Select light-colored containers that reflect heat instead of darker ones since strawberries are heat-sensitive. This is also the reason why you should steer clear of hanging baskets since these tend to get hot quickly, which makes the strawberries dry out faster. Plants need full sun exposure for a minimum of six hours daily. Also, be sure to mix their potting soil with an all-purpose fertilizer prior to planting your bare root plants approximately 20 centimeters (8 inches) apart. Water them every day to keep them medium moist and provide additional fertilizer every ten days.

The joke of the day has just been express delivered just for you. It’s called “Forward-Thinking.”

The civil servant asked the city planner:

“Why does the capital have so many one-way streets?”

“So that all the civil servants coming in late won’t collide with those going home early.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Hanne in Denmark
